My parents didn't have money to spare like that, and we didn't go out much, so in those brief moments I would watch others play arcade games. Cringe as it is one of my best memories growing up was watching some college kids play those simulated race car games with the actual steering wheel and everything. Reddit for my state vaguely had a post noting the like 3 dems and their supporters are starting to get phoned in threats from the local militias, it was quickly removed cuz reddit, but it seems my area isn't the only one experiencing shit.

Due to the whole deal with Trump it was pretty dead so not bad at all, especially following yesterday. I'm still dealing with the effects from that.

Seconding this, and even if its a supposed stable profession don't depend on it, I've seen too many tradesmen working retail and doctors that fail to start residency.

I'd add on learn as many skills as you can, especially basic cooking and repair (car, home, gadgets, etc), it will save you time and money. Home cooked is cheaper than eating out and if you can make meals in advance and freeze them it will save time.
