Just had a doctor's appointment, turns out my suspicion was right and my T levels were a little high. Got my spiro dose upped and hopefully that'll help fix it.
I believe Spiro blocks T at the receptor but I could be wrong
I hope it does help! More estrogen will also suppress T so you could probably ask for a higher dose of that as well.
That's the plan if this isn't enough, my current E levels are low but still cis female range anyways so I'll ask at my next appointment for the dose increase regardless, the doc just wanted to do one thing at a time
that's good! the thing is that "cis female range" is sort of a endocrinologist fever dream. Cis women have incredibly variable estrogen levels based on their cycles and age. You'll also have constantly changing hormone levels based on when you take your e. The goal is to find an estrogen level that gets you good results, not hit the magic wpath number.
I'm on estrogen and progesterone without an AA now and my T is very low, which is because im on a fairly high E dose that suppresses the T. It's been nice to drop Spiro because no more side effects.
Right, well mine has been giving me consistent breast growth and feels fine, so I don't mind much.
I also get basically 0 spiro side effects, the only one I ever feel is needing to pee but it's rare, only really if I drink tea right after taking it.
