Mom has finally reached the level of acceptance that she wants to braid my hair into every neat thing she saw on tiktok recently.

My hair is just too smooth and fine to be easy to manage and this frustrates her to no end. It's kinda sweet though transshork-happy

Surprisingly, I've had 3 people (my stepmom, my sister, and my sister's friend) braid my hair without being out to them (technically, for my sister and her friend, it was a wig I was wearing, not my hair, as part of a costume).

i wish i was better at braiding, but my hair is really fucking slippery so it's difficult for everyone else to manage not to mention trying to do that shit on my own kitty-birthday-sad

me looking through the ancient persian and roman hairstyles years ago and wishing i could have those incredibly cis things to want nothing new here

Honestly not much of a fan of braids, so I've never really done any myself. But won't turn down others offering to do it anyways.
