I need to figure out a streamlined way to listen to and discover music without streaming services...
I used the one I had so little I finally cancelled it, plus I know they suck for artists, plus I'm one of those open source dweebs to the extreme so I don't want to run proprietary web apps and don't have a normal smartphone. Most of my music is either from bandcamp or pirated, but manually managing and syncing a collection is too much work for me to do it reliably and shit. I am lucky to have one absolutely goated and one pretty decent radio station near me both without ads though, so that's what I've mainly been listening to lately.
That and this I listened to for like an hour yesterday . It's "just" daft punk but A) I think it might be better in this form than their studio albums and B) I like daft punk, whatcha gonna do
daft punk's essential mix is legendary. i recommend nicolas jaar's and if you're a fan of dubstep skream's mix is also legendary
