Just got my first set of makeup. Eyeliner, Lipstick, and Concealer. I got too light of a concealer, which is a great start, but I think with the proper foundation I can make it work. Eyeliner tho
Makeup is so fun.
I usually use the lightest concealers as I have translucent skin. I have seen people use some lipsticks as concealer too in the past, depends on skin type though and also shades of lipstick ofc. Youtube tends to have a load of videos on stuff like that so I'd rec looking there for general tips on how to apply makeup in general but also working with shades. Liquid liner is one of the hardest to get to grips with but worth learning, practice a lot.
Lipsticks as concealer? This is genius
Mhm I thought it was more well known
Granted, everything I know is self taught and/or by internet searches or the trans megathread when I have a question about something.
I think there's a mention in orange book too lol though I've known about it for over a decade. I did a ton of research on make up years ago.
I have only been in the makeup game for about a year at most, so can only mimic a fraction of your power.
Doesn't take long picking up tips and such c:
hehe I know. I am really happy with how much I have improved at basic makeup, especially liquid liner. It is also currently a little wilder (re)learning liquid liner as my eye shape changed a bit post FFS.
Mhm getting a good grasp over it and then being able to get faster and able sort out any little mishaps comes with practice and getting comfortable with the tools. Luckily it shouldn't be too much to change it slightly after your surgery c:
yay! that's exciting
