New love is blind is deeply cursed, they're all cursed to various degrees but this one seems especially bad. They've already had seasons with abusers or staff/producers not feeding or allowing the cast to drink, that kind of thing. But something seems very wrong at that kind of level on the underbelly of this season and it's very readily apparent
They could easily wrap up "the experiment" aspect of the show. The show has conclusively proven, love is not blind (for the instagram-clout-chasing reality-tv-acting set they scout for the show). They don't cast too many average people and the average people that make it don't get through to the reveals, and the few times that has happened their prospective partner has said "nope I'm breaking it off, sorry I know I proposed but now that I've seen ya I'm not into it." I think it's okay if it's just a trashy reality tv dating show, there's nothing wrong with just being who you are in the muck of the world. They don't need to pretend this is anything but that
I would almost like to see a reality show that is just like…normal people.
Or not like normal necessarily, they can be kind of weird for ratings and stuff, but like…not hot insta-fluencers.
