It's such a hard recommendation, because I did really love it, I did feel it was transformative, I did really engage with it, but also yeah it made me feel bad and very emotional. It's been like 2 years since I've actually read it and I'm still getting teary and it's weird to say "hey, I think you should read this really great splatter horror trans themes book, it'll make you cry!"
