Someone else further down even pointed out that it was actually the British that strapped people to cannon muzzles to execute them, not the DPRK

"I'm pretty sure I've seen those videos" ok produce one

Naw he doesn't have to, he's pretty sure he's seen something like that! If the president can just claim to see something with no evidence then why can't he!?

I had someone tell me it was too harrowing and I could find it myself if I really wanted to (regarding hamas crimes) >.>

uncritical support for the DPRK in its heroic struggle to liberate occupied Korea from the genocidal American empire

Personally, if I were to be executed, I'd prefer an anti-air cannon

I would just be evaporated in an instant

None of this "humane" choke on my own lungs as my heart struggles to beat shit

Oh same, especially since idgaf what happens to my body after I die. Just kill me quick and painless

I mean better yet, just shoot me in the head, at least that way someone can still have my kidneys.

Probably the greatest piece of evidence for the more liberal conceptions of propaganda is the way that they just heap lie upon lie about the DPRK until the ethos the lies collectively create is the main thing legitimizing any individual lie.

Damn it really is always projection huh

It's called 'being blown from a gun', and yes, it's British in more recent history.

Iirc the br*ts chose that execution method as a way to disrupt burial rites which required the entire body. So it wasn't just an over the top brutal execution but a way to punish the victims even in death

Why do you think this actually happened?

It sounds like something they would do.

Why do you say that?

Well they did this other crazy thing last year.

Oh, why do you think that actually happened?

It sounds like something they would do.

Ad infinitum back until it's just phrenology and colonialism and shit.

I need no evidence, I'm quite confident I've seen them so wacky shit before.

Substantiate my claims? No, thank you.

Also who wants to bet this arsehole needs evidence for every damn thing Usia/Israel/Ukraine do, when they've done it a thousand times before and it's better-documented than the colour of the sky.

No he’s right. The North Korean official got executed via anti aircraft gun, then Kim Jong Un was so sadistic that he brought the Juche Warlocks from deep inside the Pyongyang laboratories to resurrect him so he can continue torturing and executing him. It’s truly horrific. It’s basically the dark arts equivalent of using morphine and adrenaline to keep a victim alive

This kinda reminds me of Mughal emperor Akbar, who got so mad at one of his generals that he defenestrated him, and when the general survived he ordered to bring him back up and defenestrate him again.

defenestrate

verb: to throw (someone) out of a window

Why is there a word for this

How often does this happen that they needed to coin a word for it

Why is there a word for this

Because throwing out catholic officials from the window of castle of Prague in 1618 was the opening act of the Thirty Years War which was a fuckhuge issue so the term was coined using the contemporary version of Latin which was still commonly used back then for official reasons.

How often does this happen that they needed to coin a word for it

It was third time it happened to officials in Prague. Though to be fair high profile cases are pretty rare historically, usually people are executed or lynched in other methods. Wiki lists 30 notable cases between IX century BCE and 2022, of which half is either unconfirmed or obvious bullshit.
