How do I know? Because “wait, let me get my shoes” is classic prose. It was scripted, including the dead firefighter. Sacrifices had to be made. The SS would never let him pose for a photo op after an active shooter was shot. They are inherently competent just like all long standing US institutional forces. There is no other explanation.

I know it was staged because it is much more comforting to me to think that the powers that be are all hyper-competent and everything is meticulously planned because the concept of chaos scares me.
