I love that one of the nation's in TES is literally just "Elsewhere"

Population: some cats
Cat-shaped elves. Apparently related to the Bosmer, with the divide being over how static their forms were: both branches are more fluid than others, but the Bosmer settled on mostly having one form while the Khajiit did not, hence why they're everything from anime catgirls to literal house cats to the Thundercats from the show Thundercats, among other things, all determined by the phase of the moons when they're born.
Also some Khajiit are literally just normal looking elves without any cat features at all.

New isekai just dropped; "I was a furry who got reincarnated in a world with furries and I was from a furry race but I look like an elf"
(Also not the longest anime title I've seen)
I got crunchyroll for the first time a few days ago to watch one piece and while scrolling through it I noticed how every Isekai has the longest fucking name you've ever seen
In fact this comment could be a title for an Isekai
Honestly just making the title of a book or show a brief summary of what it's about feels like a much better practice than the practice of trying to coin some snappy one or two word title that means and conveys nothing apart from serving as an identifier for the work.
Makes me think of the sad horse show bit with the sleezy hollywood producer screaming about how titles can't be longer than two words and turning down scripts for "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood" on that reasoning.
The lore was very sloppy and slapdash in the very first Elder Scrolls game, originally just titled "Arena." Some of the locations are as copy-paste as Mirkwood in it.

Better than Knowhere, implying aliens have enough handle of the English language to do word play (I think, idk Marvel enough)
I know it's just a meme but the analogy doesn't work since the Palestinians didn't wipe out the previous inhabitants (and then celebrate it like the Nord KKKompanions do).
Are we ever going to get an Elder Scrolls 6 where we take the fight to the Thalmor?
Maybe if it takes place in the Aldmeri core and you choose between helping the Thalmor or the invaders. Otherwise, their settings and game structures haven't supported something like that in a long time.
Elder Scrolls 6 vs. GTA 6
two games that will never get released because capitalism decided that re-releasing the same game over and over was more profitable
As much as I hate to defend any gamer, at least ES6 fans are unlikely to lose their shit if one of the main characters is a woman or minority.
I remember being 12 when San Andreas came out, and being excited for how many more features the game had than vice city, and how much bigger the map was, and the 12 year old white boys in my class being entirely butthurt about the protagonist being black (but they wouldn't put it that way, of course, because they didn't want to get their ass beat, so instead they talked about how much cooler of a time period 80s Miami was, and how much more badass Tommy Vercetti is.)
🤨 I was like motherfucker we can finally swim in this one, and there's fighter jets, and there's 3 different cities Tommy vercetti dies if he falls off a boat. What kind of florida man protagonist is that???
Extra strange since nowadays people hold San Andreas up as the best classic GTA and I seldom hear anyone talk shit about it.
Didn't they reveal TES6 will be in Hammerfell? Either Hammerfell's ongoing war against them will feature prominently in that or it'll be set after Hammerfell got a truce out of them.
Although that runs into an issue that what happens in Skyrim would still be immediately relevant: if the Stormcloaks win then Skyrim is allied with and supporting Hammerfell in its war, while if the Empire wins Hammerfell is almost completely alone. Unless they just "lmao dragonbreak!" Skyrim away, which is what they're almost certainly going to do now that I think of it. It'll just be "huh seems like all those dragons did a heckin dragonbreak or something and it seems nothing conclusive happened there!" because Bethesda doesn't have any decent writers left.
The lazy vague Bethesda way of addressing this is to only feature a small contingent of Nord "volunteers", maybe as corpses in a dungeon with some journal entries that could be read as them being sent by the Stormcloaks or just coming of their own accord.
not on your life, even if ES6 comes out the thalmor/other factions are going to be complete political nonsense
Would be hilarious if the Thalmor are defeated offscreen, either through war or by collapsing under the weight of their own hubris, in between ES5 and 6.
