The metronome is swinging hard left babyyyy, we're at progress! I'm very trans rn. (Don't think about the fact that it means the metronome can only swing right into reaction).

Also surprised nobody has found the unfinished letter in my typewriter. Its dated 26-06, where I wrote about one line and I haven't worked on it after that.

why do you have a typewriter

I mean they're cool but honestly I feel like composing typed documents is one of the few things computers are undeniably great for (you can make mistakes)

Edit: I just considered how much modern printers suck and I maybe kinda 10% get it

i used my parents' old one back in the day and it felt far more satisfying than typing on even a mechanical keyboard. also as someone with adhd, i think i would appreciate not having the ability to just alt-tab into something else if i was trying to focus

just alt-f4 into something else if i was trying to focus

You mean you don't just leave everything open because eventually you'll get to it? Alt-tab all the way.

whoops, that was just me forgetting how computers work

they're cool, i would love to have one

just gotta go to the right thrift store, I see them still. But idk, my feeling was always "this is going to be too big of a project for how much I would enjoy it"

I wanted one. So my family got me one. And yea, it's more satisfying to type on. Printers are a shit (also, anything written on a computer is potentially readable by who knows who).

fair enough! Hope it lives a long life without mechanical issues, that's what always scared me off. I do journal on paper for similar reasons even though I kinda don't like hand writing. Same reason I use an ancient beast of a printer when I do need to print and linux on everything lol

We must perform a communist revolution against the reactionary metronome. We'll make very trans all the way to the right, extremely trans in the middle, and actual goddess on the left
