Also, weirdest movie watching experience I ever had was in like 2016. I moved into a place that had a giant crt TV with vcr built in. So I went to the thrift store to buy some VHS tapes, had nostalgia for it. I got Blue Velvet - I didn't read the cover, I thought it was gonna be an Elvis documentary or something. It was not. Good movie just so jarring from what I was expecting. Also VHS sucked, rewinding sucks, the quality is so so terrible. If you ever feel nostalgia you have forgotten the pain of it.
Mad God is WILD! I took some shrooms with a few friends and watched it right after it came out. 100% would recommend.
Mad God is very good, the stop motion is great. I found queen of the damned disappointing the book was better, needed a better Lestat too. House is okay too c:
VHS can depend greatly on how good your player was. Video players wirh 4 heads are some of the best plus hifi sound

Okay rewinding is like, you press a button and leave it for two minutes after :| why do people think this is hard, you never hear this complaint abt cassettes...
It sucked for casettes too. It's a chore you don't have to do with digital media or dvd/Blu ray. Although the copy protection and forced ads suck for those.
I don't think it does, again I just let it rewind for a sec, hell I have a dedicated portable tape recorder for my cassettes, but only because I don't wanna wear out my deck's motor.
I like some later DVD and Bluray machines having memory features so you can pick back up, but the copy protection shit is awful yeah...
