Cis people are so weird. One of my housemates said that she is getting rid of her black jeans because they're out of fashion, even though she still likes some of them. She doesn't want to be seen wearing clothes that aren't trendy.
What a boring way to approach self-expression. You just want to look like everyone else? You just want to go with what's popular instead of what you personally like?
Trans/gnc people are sooo much better at fashion
Yes they are c:
Never understood the need to dress like other people or as some trend. I'm usually averse to most of what is "popular" in all things
Queers set the trends because we wear what we want without caring about trends, and that confidence generally makes people want to copy us
1980s type beat where the major fashions were all just copying queer coded artists (e.g. Grace Jones, waow)
well, some of us do... I'm still working on this...
put on the outfit!
Is this as much a neurotypical thing as a cis thing? But I agree completely lmao
Yeah it might be, I hadn't considered that, but there's a strong overlap between being cis and being neurotypical. Or maybe its the other way around, strong overlap between being neurodivergent and being trans.
The based neurodiverse transgenders but that kind of compulsion to "fit in and be normal" or w/e shrieks NT to me lol
why are they out of fashion? what happened?
attractive people on tiktok stopped wearing them. cargo pants are all the rage now. cargo pants are pretty cool tbf, and comfier
It's so funny that to most people "fashion" is just whatever is currently being marketed to people successfully enough that it becomes "trendy". Real fashion is wearing what you want and being confident in your choices.
