Did you know the economy is good actually? If you're struggling it's your fault. Biden's economy is actually great
Your kid being anxious if elevators reminds me of how I developed a really bad anxiety of electric fences when I was a teenager. Not ideal when I live in the countryside and have to cross and open electric fences to walk my dog, so whenever I was walking without anyone else, I would get on my belly and scotch on the ground under the fence (which were usually like three feet above ground, I could have just ducked).
So awesome how I am afraid to come out to all of my coworkers and friends and family as pan and agender but these fuckhead straight Redditors think it's hilarious to pretend to be queer. Must be nice.
It really seems like the Boys just got so far away from its original premise. The first few episodes got me excited for a show about normal people killing superheroes, but then it turned into superhero drama and never had any major stakes. I haven't watched s4 yet because I'm just not that interested anymore and I heard it's positive on Zionism. I also think Homelander just isn't as interesting as the main villain, and in season 3 he was the main character. Huey and Butcher felt a bit stretched, like the writers didn't really know where to go with their characters in s3.
5 seasons is way too many for this show, if it had been a tightly planned 3 season show it would have been better. It just feels bloated now
Chainsaw Man is my favourite media ever, but it's also still ongoing. I'd recommend both, maybe start with Dungeon Meshi if you want to have a complete story, then read Chainsaw Man.
Zombies are barely in chainsaw man and part 2 (and I guess part 1) is kinda a criticism of mindless shonen hyperviolence as just something cool. Vibes of Dungeon Meshi are definitely fun more of the time and Chainsaw Man is more depressing, but imo Chainsaw Man is a lot more complex story. They're both very fun, chainsaw man is my favourite manga/media ever and I binged half of dungeon Meshi in one day because I was enjoying it so much.
Ya that's what I'm saying
Also when I was writing this my ears started ringing really loudly
I used to see a lot of liberal feminist pages on Instagram that I am now kinda suspicious of. The issues they brought up were always, exclusively, cishet issues, like luxury tax on tampons and sexism in workplaces. Not that these aren't serious issues, but there was never any mention of how queer women are affected by these things, or women of colour of neurodivergent women and so on. I don't think I ever saw a single instance of how patriarchy negatively affects men, especially marginalised men, men were only portrayed as benefitting from patriarchy. I'd see these infographics where the only men that existed were businessmen in suits, and the only women that existed were white middle class cishet women.
Such a narrow focus on elevating one group isn't liberation, it's just wanting privileges to be extended to yourselves. These people haven't done a serious examination of patriarchy, they just know how it affects themselves and think "well, I would like it to stop affecting me personally". Dismantling patriarchy is something that requires queer theory and moving past gender binaries and intersectionilism, and anyone who isn't willing to take that step shouldn't be considered a feminist.
Why did my boss just text "He forgot to dip his wings ๐ค" into the group chat with no context
That's the build I make every time I play Fallout 4
My hair looks pretty cool right now ๐
