Car
IT'S A TRUCK
I'm in me mum's car. Broom Broom
Lmao
Making a fake LLC to "insure" cybertrucks and denying every single claim
I honestly thought that's what Tesla Insurance was going to be but even they don't insure Cyber Trucks
I am truly happy that I moved when I did because I have yet to see a ZYBERTRUKKK with my own eyes.
The CPC isn't letting Elon sell his shitty death trap truck here in China, and even if he could, Dongfeng has an electric truck that's better quality and cheaper so only the most Westoid brained Chinese would consider buying one.
Hell, even the functional Tesla's are a rare sight, because electric cars here are simply outpacing them in terms of reliability and features. BYD has a feature where if you plug a car with an empty battery to a full one, the batteries will level out to around 50% each. Like you can do with a gasoline car. I'm pretty sure if tried that with a Cyber Truck, it voids the warranty and has a 50% chance of bricking one or both of the cars.
I wonder if the lack of E-L-O-N genius/expertise can also explain why there's so much high speed rail in China compared to the just about fucking nothing in the disruptive innovative playground that features neon-lit car tunnels in Las Vegas
I have been enjoying just talking to people I know (all Americans) about how shit Teslas are compared to BYD and other Chinese EVs. They write me off as a CPC fanboy (ok, guilty as charged) not only because they consider Teslas to be a “premium” brand, but also because Americans’ egos can’t let them accept that China is doing something better than them.
I’d like to think that one day I’ll get to see their brains break when they realize that the little that Americans do make is dogshit compared to what China can do. But then again, there’s still way too many Americans who think universal health care is less efficient and leads to worse health outcomes than our current system, so they may all just cope until they die.
Lmao the u.s. had to implement a 100% tariff on chinese ev’s to keep american cars competitive. They wouldn’t be doing that if chinese ev’s were actually worse than american ones
My partner called me, extremely confused, when she first saw one. I think she said it looked "like a tank from a really old video game" and I immediately realized what she was talking about.
The design is based on an old Mac game about designing cars, the Cybertruck's profile shape is apparently the design that gave the highest score in wind tunnel tests in game.
It's Gen X nostalgia obscura.
Okay, I'll bite.
Is there any truth to that in real life?
From a cursory bing image search, the most aerodynamic car on the market is:
Which, yeah, because it looks like an aerofoil. Looks like a cyber truck but closer to the ground and uses rounded edges. And also much lighter.
So yeah, the CT would be moderately aerodynamic, but would be better if it wasn't rendered on a 1982 Apple II computer.
Still love the truck though!
Like this?
The car design is based on an old video game about designing cars. The style of car Cybertrucks are based on ranked highest in wind tunnel tests, probably because it's roughly what an aerofoil rendered on a 1982 Apple II or DOS would look like in car form.
That with panel gaps
yeah but he designed it with .2 micron tolerances so it's not his fault if nobody is competent enough to make it!!
I know you've been enjoying all these broke ass cybertrucks. I saw a video the other day of this dude just ripping panels off with his hands. If you slam the doors hard they break, all 4 broke. The FRAME BROKE trying to tow another truck
Just lolllll
I know you've been enjoying all these broke ass cybertrucks.
There is a fun little corner of that has been a guilty pleasure of mine from time to time:

THEY
STILL
LOVE
THE
TRUCK
the truck holds them hostage, they post something bad and it drives them off of a cliff
Ha next time you come across that stuff post it, I crave cybertruck content
If you like the opposite you should watch videos of people abusing toyota hiluxes, lemme just say they're unkillable. Idk why any other truck gets made.
They look even worse irl
Before or after a random part falls off?
Before
I mean at least they get a more interesting shape when something falls off, so you're right about that.
i've seen two cybertrucks in person. one regularly drives around my smallish town, it has the logo for a lawncare business on the side lmao. bet it's a tax write off cause now it's a "business expense". saw another one the other day at the gas station.
honestly, super unpopular opinion- i like how they look. that's about all i like about them but still
Welcome back comrade! Thanks for taking care of Kissinger for us.
consider yourself lucky i see them all the time and every single time it irritates me far more than it should
If I still lived around Silicon Valley in CA, I'm sure I'd have seen fleets of those WankPanzers by now.
m'lord I yearn to drive the death wagon but alas the constable dost forbid thy flaming wagon on the road!
Gonna be amazing to see these at car shows in 30 years in mint condition with the original owners saying "yep, had to trailer'er in cus they won't insure the things, got 375 miles on it before coverage was dropped... love sitting in it... you know they upgraded the firmware so you can use it as a home theater because we can't drive em'.... I miss my grand kids." while they stand and stare at their $100k paperweight.
No chance this thing will last 30 years even unused.
It's a DeLorean of our times
must not lathe cybertruck back to the future reboot must not lathe cybertruck back to the future reboot
After being picked apart by racoons the only thing left will be the stainless steel shell... That's somehow rusting.
I think cybertrucks will fully sublimate into the surrounding air in under 20 years.
I literally cannot get it insured because of it being an enormous piece of junk even by the standards of currently produced vehicles, but I still love the truck, please help me lord king Elon
Lord Elon, your holiness, it seems there's been a mistake. It appears your own insurance, Tesla Insurance, does not insure the Cyber Truck. I wouldn't dare insinuate it's a conscious decision on milord's part, or even an oversight, as your geniuousness is incapable of oversights. It must be the incompetent underlings!
Love the truck, though.
I checked the news if this has benlen covered. Not yet at least but these trucks aren:t crash tested. Wtf.
Just don’t crash.
“Trust us” -Tesla
lol it’s like a 256-layer matryoshka doll of dumpster fires inside dumpster fires. I fucking love it.
