I just remembered something on an old Dan Carlin podcast he said. It was the episode about nuclear war. His point (and one I agree with) was that the firebombing of Tokyo, Hamburg, etc wasn’t really all that different from the nuclear bombs - that’s a condemnation of firebombing cities, not a defense of nuclear war.
