So dreams, they're kinda kooky. Mine are usually full of like weird senseless gore or uh computers ig. How long did it take for your dream self (if you dream as yourself ever) to start matching your irl self?
This is kind of a self perception or conceptualisation thing I guess, I think my dreams better reflected my image the more I replaced pronouns and titles for myself internally. I never really dreamt of myself as a boy, instead I was a weird sort of amorphous blob, like the Reincarnated As A Slime protagonist or something. It took several years for the me in my dreams to match the me_irl, which is great because now my brain thinks I should have weird sex shit or just be topless in dreams half the time
I have no idea if anyone else has experiences like this, maybe most people don't dream in first person or just always dreamed as their actual gender. Me I never had dreams about being A Girl, Idk :>
I'd say I more just see myself as like a haze, not clearly in focus. I've always dreamed in first person though.
I did dream about having bottom surgery last night, that was weird.
Now that is some fastmoving dreambrain! Good dream!!!
It really is, especially with how little time I've been thinking of that idea.
dysphoria
Woke up immediately feeling weird about having it and a little upset I can't get surgery for a while. Plus the cost. But now I'm all betterSometimes Iβll have dreams where I will see my reflection and itβs a girl and Iβm happy and relieved and than I wake up and remember it was a dream and get sad.
Hopefully you get to see the day when you can see the girl in your reflection IRL
I could be there or close right now tbh, Iβm just too afraid to check
Your subconscious mind wants it...
Worst fucking dream I had is a few years ago when I was playing around with a girl who's related to me then I found out she was actually trans and when I asked her how she told me she came out to our family and they've helped her transition and if I felt like I'm a girl I should come out too, GIRL FUCK YOU I ALMOST ACTUALLY DID IT WHEN I WOKE UP πππ
Absolutely brutal also made me giggle though lol
ikr
Can't say I really remember my body in dreams. I think sometimes its just some random person/thing seen in 3rd person. Like, a long time ago, I think I had a dream where I think my body was Yugi's for no reason. Was not relevant at all to the dream; brain just needed a placeholder for me I guess?
Oh cool! I find that when strained for material, the brain calls all kinds of random stuff for placeholders which is kinda funny. I figured at least a few people would answer like this.
I dream in first person, although my brain has already started adopting how I am IRL into my dreams, interestingly enough (at least how others interact with me in those dreams). I have no idea what I would look like if I could see myself. Minus one really strange dream, I've never really seen myself.
I sometimes end up lookin down and seeing myself, (just like in irl!) but it's rare to get a full unobstructed view. Very cool of your brain to do that though tbh!
I think it happened before I started taking E? Dream Sery is just a cute girl, like irl Sery is now, but she's been a cute girl for a long time.
