Been housing more homeless trans folks. Y'all, I'm worried. This past year has been a spike our mutual aid network hasn't seen before. We're stretched real thin :x One house is housing four trans people in two bedroomsFuck Biden, America, etc so on and so forth

Mutual aid networks are going to become more and more important given how crazy rent is in the few places it's actually safe to be trans. And the ability to connect people for roommate situations is something social services simply does not do - my job would be way easier if I could just help people find roommates to split rent with and then give them all the same financial supports - but then I'd need to get documentation from the roommates, and nobody wants to deal with their roommate's case manager... It sucks.

These are very worrying times. I feel very uncertain if society is going to keep getting better about these issues like it did with other movements or worse. I wish I could contribute to aid, all I can do is wish you well.And of course, fuck america.
