i'm not sure if this is just the estrogen or i was wildly more confident in my muscles before but i keep trying to do any kind of workouts and they have been completely kicking my ass in a way i've never felt before. i keep getting trying these absolute baby beginner workouts and they keep destroying me before i make it a fraction of the way through them. Is this normal on estrogen? I was rather muscular before going on HRT and it's been about 3 months now if that helps. Am I just experiencing normal things or am I just a bigger weenie than I thought?
did you work out before, or were you just like, naturally muscular? Are you targeting different muscle groups or something?
I was never particularly muscular nor strong, but could still do a pullup without issue. Not that I do (or did) pullups, mind.
5 years into hrt and I could no longer do a pullup lmao, atrophy and fat redistribution rocks
I didn't really work out much but I had a decently muscular build for how little I did, although I hardly had ever worked a sedentary job before. I've been working on my glutes for the most part, which is never really a muscle group I've had problems with but nor is it one I've ever really worked on in particular. idk, I generally feel a bit weaker all around. I can certainly feel the muscles in my body losing some vigor. I've been doing some arm work too and they've also been feeling a little weaker as well
I've seen people saying that muscle loss is something some of noticed within a few months...
I haven't noticed it yet, but my T was high and E was low still a month ago and that's the last time I really did something where I'd notice. I need to get back into working out if I don't want that to change.
I do work out and that doesnβt sound fun..
