So are the other mods like apathetic libs or whats going on here? It seems weird to me to not remove stuff like that yourself, but be okay with someone else doing it. Just don't really care either way if transphobes participate?
There is only one other mod, Idk who they are or if they've done anything lately. I hear dessalines put our transgender patriots in control. Guessing the other mod is inactive, hence this glorious purge.
E: okay the one other mod is not doing nothing per se, but modlog activity was eepy before today.

In general, I don't think you need an account on an instance to be a mod. You just need to be a member of an instance to create the comm in the first place. Unless how lemmy works changed.

Yeah, I forgot that the instance hosting the comm iland the mod's comm aren't the full equation. Annoying how quick some comms are to defederate over things as being told they have shit politics.
