There was no shooter. Due to climate change, the increased median ambient temperature in Butler, PA reached a high enough point that it caused a chambered round in a spectator's Ruger 10/22 to spontaneously combust and propel itself at Trump's ear. The outgas from the exploding round caused the semi-auto action to chamber the next round in the magazine, which also spontaneously combusted and propelled itself out of the barrel, and so on and so forth.
