i'm almost done with part 1 and god the more I read the more I find things in her life that are 1 to 1 with my life, down to her fashion and music taste. the only thing is that i'm not transfem, i'm in the bracket of vaguely genderqueer transmasc-ish nonbinary that she is critical of, lol. and i listen to more goth music.
I didn't relate hugely to her but there are some elements here or there that I did relate to, enjoyed it thoroughly too.

I decided to wear eyeliner to work today, and my co-workers and the "customers" are still calling me "man" and he/him. I'm not exactly hiding anything, and I knew this would probably happen, but that doesn't mean it does not hurt.
Anyway, the eyeliner I put on today made me look pretty good, at least I think so. My mom also commented on how my face looks different, and she says it's not the eyeliner but... what if it is?

Yet another oc introduction post because they're fun to make.
This is (working name) Tyrin, he's one of the four main characters of a brutalist-chinese-mythology-fantasy hybrid story that I'm working on. That story is centered directly on a revolutionary struggle that is very directly inspired by the Chinese revolution, but like, more gay and trans and there's magic and stuff.
Tyrin is a nonbinary transmasc, aroace person. Within the story, he is a doctor; most people know him as an herbalist, but his cures tap into something beyond that. Xe is pulled into the story when one of the other main characters, Shao, goes to see xyr help, several years after xe helped their mom. He has many deep and unexpected connections with an underground world of medicine smuggling, as in this world most of the effective medicine is gatekept for the rich, the landlords, and the capitalists. Tyrin is incredibly kind and caring, as well as sharply perceptive. The bird in the art is a fenghuang (aka Chinese phoenix), because he's associated with that in-story.
And yes I do have two characters who are transmascs with long hair. I just like the hairstyle okay.

I wish I could ever read about hormone levels without flipping out and getting a ton of anxiety. Every time it feels like I'm doing something wrong. Even though I'm literally going to an endo for it, Idk. I'm gonna try to get my hormone levels printout tomorrow so I can discuss em with the smart people here, but even that gives me a fuckload of anxiety aaaargh
None of the online mental health stuff seems to talk about how much understimulation sucks. Like nothing is capable of being interesting enough, therefore I will just rot doing something that is easy as time flies away.

partner starts new job tomarrow. of course something in the house broke recently but assuming she has steady decent paychecks i can finally get some girl juice and start this thang
still going DIY route just seems safer as far as being on lists but maybe not for medical reasons. still have the option to go the route my co-worker went or contact my ex from high school who is a social worker that helps trans people connect with medical resources. we broke up nearly 2 decades ago and i think im the reason she went into that field so i'm sure she'd be delighted to help
still feel like im making up excuses sometimes but i do have some legit fears i need to overcome first that are rooted in some PTSD stuff
